Thanks pardner! I understand, seems there are a LOT of us who end up fishing alone. Shame, it's more fun shared...but all of us having worked life long understand you do what you have to, to make a living for your family and provide for your loved ones. Well, if you ever get up around Eagle Mountain, I invite you and all of us 'old farts', come on and let's go FISHING! Caveat, Monday through Friday and I don't fish on Holidays.... Sorry, am not going to fuss with the ski bums and ski fleas...and SAIL BOATS...!!

Not yet, but I really wish I was! Just turned 59 so I still need a few more years before I can, although I get my lotto tickets every month, and I keep really wishing I'll win the jackpot, so maybe sooner than later...

Well, time for all of us 'ol farts' to UNITE! Seems we, at least the vocal majority, seem to dominate the local market for fishing!!!

been retired for going on 12 years. the only thing that has slowed down "our" fishing is the fact that we now live at the lake. To cold, to hot, to windy. We make to many excuses not to go.
But then when we worked we fished more than we do now. Every weekend, every vacation, every chance we got.

Have to grin, your not alone. Shame isn't it? Life sure has a way of 'getting in the way'!! been retired for going on 12 years. the only thing that has slowed down "our" fishing is the fact that we now live at the lake. To cold, to hot, to windy. We make to many excuses not to go.

Count me among the retired bunch and have been for about 5 years. Me and my pontoon boat can be found on the water more often than not...unless it's too hot, cold, windy etc!Hahahaha!
Anybody need a retired guy to take an empty seat on the back of a trip let me know. Gladly pay for share of gas, lunch drinks whatever!

I don't fish anymore than I did before I retired but my fishing success has greatly improved. I pick the best days of the week when the weather is right and try not to fish on the weekends. If the fish are really biting, usually during Feb. thru April, I will fish several times a week.
