I have come down the 3rd week of March the last 2 years. While most are up shallow pounding the banks I have concentrated on the 12-16 ft range and have done very well including a 10.27 in 2012. There are still lots of pre spawn fish in March.

Really depends on the weather. I would say April or May on the full moon.

I am trying to get some info on the best month in the spring to come down to fork. If you are after a HOG I would say Feb or early-March. After spring break it gets pretty crazy at Fork but you can still experience some awesome fishing if you don't get messed up by a cold front. Ken A. is correct! I love the February-early March bite. Flipping big jigs and jerk baits!!

March IMO. If you can plan around the weather. Get a warm snap in March and fishing can get no Better. Good Luck to You..

Mid Feb-March Stay away from Rayburn during April Mcdonalds Tournament this year is 1 Million dollars cash and Prizes,unless you like crowds.or feel lucky!!!

The full moon in Apirl and May has always been good for me. Got my first 11.02lbs. in May. Lake Fork ring fry.In 2ft. of water.
