1st class operation with the best lodging down there, you won't be disappointed! I was going to suggest these guys, if you aren't going in October or November. They are booked. If you do use them, I highly recommend you request Capt. Dennis. He is a stud. I will be at the Redfish Lodge for the first time, in 10 days. I can give you my opinion of them when I get back.

Cap. Brian Bailey his family built the original marina there. If he is not available Cap. Bula. Both are awesome guides.

I'm taking 14 of my Fun-n-Sun employees/ pro staff down Oct 27-30. We are using Capt.Brent Roy and his team and staying at Sportsmans Lodge with Capt.Dan. I've used both these guys many times and stayed other places as well and NONE of them compare IMO to them.
PM me, or call Fun-n-Sun and ask them to find me and I'll give y'all all numbers and more info. Jeff I have no sponsorship with them; just a very satisfied customer of both!

Hands down you need to call Paradise Plus Lodge. They have a great affordable set up down there with some of the best fisherman down there as guides. I have limited out on reds and trout and been tired of catching fish by 11 every single trip. They also have the states greatest cook Check them out! Capt. Anthony Randazzo!!!

So you said bass/reds or trout which is it fresh or saltwater? Brackish. You can catch them all on the same stretch of shoreline sometimes.

There are 7 of us going down 10/8 -10/12. We are taking to 22' CC down with us. A couple of the guys have been going regularly for years so we aren't using a guide this time.

I have fished with Capt. Brent Roy several times over the years and he will put you on the fish. Not sure about the bass but he is one of the best down there for specks and reds.

For specks and reds we have always caught lots of fish in June and July. It's hot but you usually have limited out by 1-2 PM.
