I have a 2001 Mercury 225 EFI - needs to be freshen up, motor is still running but I can tell it has lost the punch it once had - Where is the best place to have motor work done around DFW area or 150 mile radius? Thanks

I have never needed to use anyone,but I have heard good thing about Gunter Marine in Roanoake 817 805 0047 this is where I will take my motor if I need work.

Mark Gunter or his friend Bobby are both top notch on Mercs. Bobby does more 2.5's and he knows his stuff.
I trust them both.

I would have someone check it out before deciding to rebuild. Could just need injector service, reeds, or something else minor.
