Heard the same so opened a sandie up a week ago and it looked like she was developing her egg sack.

I don't remember the fish producing egg sacks this early, anyone have some solid thought, rhyme or reason as to why ???

The Texoma striper we've been cleaning still have egg sacks and the males have milt. The eggs and milt are drying up but are there. I'm sure I'm not the only one seeing this. Been like that all season.

Nothing saying you can't have a 2nd smaller spawn if the conditions are right bass in power plant lakes can spawn year round I believe... I know crappie and brim can have more then one spawn when the conditions allow.. Not saying this is what is happening but I wouldn't rule it out the slight possiablty..
