Hey that was fun! We didn't kill a ton of birds, but we saw hundreds. We found where they were a little late in the day and the problem was we only had 4 guys working a 400 acre open field with millions of ground birds

I must have jumped 200 off the ground that were out of range walking them up, then I'd turn around to the trees I was sitting under and four or five would be flying right over where I left It was still the most fun I've had in forever. My son Blake plowed through a box or two of 12ga shells and had a blast as well!

And to answer your question phf...IU am also a Biology teacher at Kennedale HS. I started the Outdoor Education club there last year. It has grown to 51 kids this year and skeet shooting has been approved as a club sport for us. I am trying to walk the walk...looking forward to exposing kids to both hunting and fishing activities so they can learn my lifetime passion of hunting and fishing as teens...may be the thing that keeps some of them out of trouble!

Dan-O very cool. I don't remember asking any questions? We need more kids outside, blowing off some steam and staying out of trouble. I believe that there needs to be an unfailable foundation on which to start. Good stuff though! Keep them kids involved.
