Very nice, Went bank fishing with the kids this weekend and only managed a couple gar. I am jealous! haha

Nice job Dave. Ready to try it again this week. Wonder how the gar would do if you took the rest home and put in the freezer for use later? I seem to be catching alot of them lately.

Troy, I'm not sure what the awnser to that question is. I know you guys and Btroy have been doing real well with the cut gar bait around the lake lately but I've never been that big of a fan of the gar and don't like using frozen bait at all. I would just throw it in the fridge if you are gonna use it the next day.

Great job again Dave and Lou, that is one heck of a nice fish for this time of year, should only get better from here on out.
As far as the gar I noticed when I keep it over night it tends to get soft and falls apart the next days. It still catches fish just does not stay on the hook as long.
Having fun is hard work sometimes! Not the biggest but big enough!
