Stayed at the Minnow Bucket Friday night; fishing the DSM tournament Saturday. Put in at the Minnow Bucket Saturday morning; parked by the ramp. I came off the lake at 2 only to find my truck had the key hole punched and the handle damaged. They failed to get in; best luck I had all day. Nothing of value inside but dirty clothes. I told Tony who runs the store about what had happened; did not say much. Mc Donald tournament next week; who's next!!!

So the new security cameras at the minnow bucket still can't catch a thief...Store clerk said they had eyes in the sky...What a joke!! I have not had any problems at Oakridge or Lake Fork Marina...

I see the next big economy boom at Lake Fork, methhead hunting! outfitters will work with the local ramps and stores to set sniper perches on the roofs.

well, that sucks...
now you have to spend all that money needlessly to get your vehicle repaired, but on the bright side at least you can feel a little satisfaction in knowing this; that meth-head is now sitting in a dark room scratching his skin off and fiending for another hit, which he cannot afford because he was unable to steal any of your stuff

I hate like hell that this is going on up there and so many of you have been pillaged by dope heads, but it begs the question.
Why has this problem been allowed to continue for as long as it has???? These Lake Fork thievery threads come up way too often, I believe about a year or so ago this would come up several times a week. Why cant either law enforcement or the stores/marinas get a grip on this problem? I have a hard time believing this couldn't be put to a grinding halt if there was some sort of cooperation from the authorities up there.
