Seriously thinking about ONE 12' model coming out soon. Looking for opinions and/or questions that I should get answers too BEFORE making the 'plunge'. Y'all's thoughts please??

Love my Talons, as important a piece of equipment as my trolling motor.

I have two. No problems. I spent ALOT of time deciding on which brand to buy. I have been very happy with my choice.

I actually own 4. 2 on my ranger and two on my jon boat. to date I have had no problems with any of them. I would definitely buy the tilt bracket.

I've heard from this forum that the power pole is the way to go. I've had a power pole for 3 years and beat the [censored] out of it. Zero issues

It's ok. No way I would value it over quality electronics.

I've had my Talon for 2 years, used & abused it. No problems. I will buy one for my next boat.

These are my thoughts exactly! Mine was already on the boat when I bought it and I wasn't convinced that I'd use it. Wrong! Now I want the second one. I've never had a single issue with it. If I bought all new again, I think I'd go with the power poles simply because you can deploy them half way down and they will be out of the coangler's way. The Talon is there all the time.

I have two 8' Talons.
I started with one Talon on my first boat. Transferred it to my new boat and bought a second unit.
Love my Talons!

Am concerned about transom weight.... Online it shows the 8 ft model at 26 lbs which sounds about right from what I remember. Not sure if that includes the bracket and hardware which is about another 2 1/2 -3 lbs or so if not included.
