Does the red run flip on like a light switch? I'll be there next week starting Thursday, and I'll get 9 whole days ending the 21st.

I'm not a chick.

They've been catching bulls starting a week or two ago at Roll Over, and then they are starting to be caught around Galveston this last weekend, looks like the run is marching it's way South.

I heard a couple of blips from the shark guys that they though it was starting up a little early this year, but I don't know for sure.

the rain might be causing them to run early but they typically start between now and the middle of Oct. Never know exactly when but when they are running and you catch a group of them. Mercy, it's fun as hell.

The mature bay redfish actually start their migration in the back bays in late August.

By the time the reach the barrier islands, flats and get near the Gulf passes they'll herd up and the "rodeo" is on !!!

In some wadefishin' spots you can "head'em off at the pass" and get enough action to make your arms sore - as well as something for your grill.
