Saw some threads on here but anyone have any recent info on the fishing conditions there? Does it get really crowded? Baits, cost etc... I am going for the first time with my son and debating on if I should bring the wife along. She is not as early of a riser as us so I didnt want to show up at 7am and see the place crawling. Any info is greatly appreciated

There is a lot of space there to fish. The piers can get a little packed, but early risers are the ones who get the spots. Since working nights, I haven't been there to check on it, but based on the spraying I have done this week, it will probably have a few tons of skeeters, just be prepared. Most of the information can be found on this site here.

Anytime. Some time we will meet at Roseland, I frequent there a lot. I'll have a red Ford F-150 parked there.
I haven't fished anywhere recently, been busy spraying mosquitoes for the city, so can't tell you where you will catch anything.
Another couple of weeks and the back waters and bays will be teaming with reds, trout and drum, they like back here during the winter.

Lol the new big/pier goes first, the other two stay a little empty. The first pier you pass has a lot of rocks and snags to the left and right so cast dead center. I always catch black drum off it, You can fish off the left side with a lot of success. I haven't been to roseland in a while lol used to be my fave crabbing spot.
