What's your preference for lenses in costa glasses?? Is there a major weight difference from Glass to poly's? Duribility difference between the two??

Glass is definitely heavier, it is pretty much scratch resistant, but will break if dropped just right on cement. Poly is scratch resistant but will scratch and is lighter. I personally wear glass ,you will be able to tell the difference in clarity and weight.

I have a pair of the 400 series glass saltbreaks and love them. Yes, they are slightly heavier than other sunglasses but they don't cause fatigue while wearing them. they come in different color lenses and the glass has better polarized clarity than the poly.

I've never had a pair of Costas but I keep reading that they're well worth the money.

Can you buy a set of Costas along with an additional set of lenses to change out when you want?

I really like those "INDIO" models, but they only come with Blue Mirror and Smoke.

I want to get Green Mirror (for fishing) and Copper (for Driving).

amber for shallow salt water... grey for offshore.

Get the glass... very scratch resistant and super clear.
Best polarization of any of brand.

I'll never go back.

That particular model does only come in those 2 colors, unfortunatly Costa does not have frames with interchangeable lenses anymore. Used to a few years back.

Has any of you ever tried the copper 580p?? I'm guessing there is not a huge difference between them and the amber lens. The reason I ask is there is a pair for sale and I would likely buy them if they were comparable to the amber.
