I was out there Wednesday & Friday night and both times noticed quiet a few boats don't leave their anchor lights on at night while fishing. Was cruising across the lake and roughly 50yds in front of me an anchored boat turned their lights on, then turned them off as we passed by. Someone may get hurt out there one night. Just passing along info to anyone wanting to fish out there at night. Use caution!

I know I'm going off to side, sort of saying, and excuse me,but what is a good deep cell battery.I think they are doing that for that reason, turning the light on and off.

I switched over to the AGM batteries and have real good luck. They hold a charge about four times longer. They will cost you a lot more, BUT they will do the job. They are like dept finders, get the biggest you can afford. On them bigger is better!

chances are they are doing it because they are doing something shady... been a practice forever on that lake... very dangerous practice
