Lake Austin was on fire last night with the New Moon. I have done really well on both new and full moons.

We caught 3 over 6, including my PB at 8.5 lbs. I broke off on a no doubter 10+ and my buddy broke off twice on good fish, was depressed for 45 minutes until I caught my new PB!

I want to post a pic but having trouble, does anyone have suggestions on how to post a pic on here?

1 Click on your photo in the photo bucket web site you want to post.
2 Then right click it and select "copy image url"
3 Then when you select new topic you will see the little icons at the top of the text area
4 Select the enter an image icon
5 Insert non floating image
6 Hit Ctrl V and it will paste that image url from photo bucket into your text window.

If this don't make sense go to the main TFF page. There will be a section there called photos. In there are more instructions.

So, would you rather fish a new moon or full moon? Or does it really matter?

Awesome. :-) Just fish when you can, moon or not. :-) If they're bitin, awesome, if they're not, better than the alternative. :-) I've tried following the lunar calendars but it's never a guarantee they're gonna bite.

I think yesterday wasn't just because a new moon I believe the cooler weather is helping out. All the bass I caught yesterday were skinny and I'm sure starving. They haven't been hitting like they were yesterday in about 2 months.
