I was in dental school and I saw what happened on TV. Funny thing is, I didn't realize what was really happening.

One of Johnny Thompson's old fishing partners was showing me his holes on Texoma. I remember stopping for gas that morning and filled up for a little over a dollar a gallon. When I came home that afternoon, gas at that same station was close to five bucks a gallon.

I was in CID at the time and on my way to Methodist Hospital in Dallas for medical records on an assault case. I remember listening to Howard Stern talk about it minute by minute. Got detoured into downtown on the way back- lots of paniced people flowing out of the buildings. May we never forget.....

Working at Compaq on the phone with a sales guy in Ca. He actually told me what was going on until we got a TV up then watched the second attack.

I was wrapping up a project in Nottingham England so it was early afternoon when it happened. I was the only person from America on the team and was supposed to fly home that weekend. I got stranded there for over a week.. The flight home was tense and it was strange to come home to all the patriotic displays and heightened security.

Working on lake lanier in GA. We were building the biggest dock/marina in the state at the time. One guy turned on the radio in the bosses car to get some tunes and then we heard what happened. Everybody huddled around that car the rest of the day till quitting time then went home and watched on tv. Still get that feeling when I think about it.

Preparing to be married. Wife and I got married on 9/15/2001. No family could fly in for the wedding so they all got together and rented vans to drive in from San Antonio. Happiest and saddest week I ever experienced.
