This is one day that I will never forget. It was a bad day for a lot of family's. Do you remember what you were doing that day?
I was in Alvord TX, stacking a 300' cell phone tower, when I got the call about what was going on. We then shut the job down a huddled around the radio to listen, then all of us started calling our family's.

Sitting exactly where I am right now , then went up to the front to watch it all on TV. Saw the second one hit live.

Was driving to work when I heard about the first one, then watched the other two hit the towers live on tv.
Prayers sent for all that have been and were associated with what happened.

We were taking a test in AP biology my junior year of high school. Teacher turned on the TV. A few minutes in, we saw a plane run into the tower and I thought it was a replay of the first plane hitting. It took me a second or so to realize that the smoke from the first tower was already there when that plane hit the tower. That's when I understood it wasn't an unfortunate accident. Will probably never forget that moment.

I was lying on my friends couch after a long night. He woke me up and I watched the 2nd plane hit. I thought I was still dreaming. Such a tragic event. Next day I went to the Airforce recruiter.

I was sitting in my truck in Mesquite listening to KRLD. I remember the details of that morning so clearly.
Never forget.

I was living on a ranch at the time, we had a guy come out brought his 2 dogs with him, our rottweiler got into a fight with one of em and the guy tried to jump in and break it up. I had to shoot the rottweiler and one of his, I was digging the holes to bury em when my cousin stuck her head out the door and said omg you have got to come see this, made it inside just in time to see the second plane hit. I'll never forget that morning, it's etched into my brain like it just happened yesterday

I was on lake Grapevine. I will always remember thinking "why is it so eerie quiet". After a while I realized no planes were flying. Got to my truck and found out what happened that morning.

I was in 6th grade art class. Teacher was from NY and had family there. They called her about it and she put it on the TV.

I was working on equipment above the Aspen Co. airport. A white truck pulled up with 2 security personnel and told me to vacate the area....They both had their guns drawn. I left and went to Woody creek bar and found out what was happening.

I was at a managers meeting in Albequerqe New Mexicao eating breakfast in the Hotel Restaraunt watching it unfold. All our return flights were cancelled, we got stranded there, luckily my boss had rented a suburban, we all pilled in for a long drive back to DFW. My boss got caught speeding 90 in a 55mph zone in the wonderful speed trap that it is in Clarendon, Tx. Northwest of Childress. When the police officer pulled us over he asked where we were heading, my boss told him the story of how we got stuck in New Mexico due to 9-11 - the officer simply told him slow down and have a nice day. Clarendon police don't do that, but he knew we wanted to be home with our families.
