Hi guys! Wanted to introduce myself  . New to fishing and is looking forward to learning many things from ya'll!

Rule #1 - Can't catch em if you don't go.
Rule #2 - A bad day on the water is better than a good day at the office.
Rule #3 - The larger the bait, the bigger the fish.
Rule #4 - Boat is short for Break out another thousand
Rule #5 - The fish don't mind the rain, in fact they bite better when it rains, so carry a rain coat, but get off the water when it's lightening!
Rule #6 - You can have too big of a boat, but sometimes you will need a bigger boat.
Rule #7 - Don't let the boat sit for more than a month.
Rule #8 - Take a kid fishing when ever you can.
Rule #9 - It's always colder and windier on the lake.
Rule #10 - Thank the lord every time you get to step into his great office that we call the outdoors.

Haven't caught much and these fishing charters are getting expensive! That is where you are going wrong!! paying to go fishing on a charter is something I only do if I am on a vacation away from my own gear... You might surprise yourself if you start going it alone, and just start trying to catch some fish -- it can be a little bit difficult on some bodies of water to figure out how to catch anything at all, but on others, you definitely do not need anyone to tell you what to do... If you want, shoot me a PM and we can figure somethin out... I am an hour north of you, near FT Hood, and would not mind going out and showin you a few of my secrets...
