I burned my exhaust tuner out of my yammi and am getting close to being financially able to have it repaired. I was just going to change the tuner but with the labor involved and money spent I want to soup her up a bit actually a lot lol I would like someone who specializes in performance mods with out having to go to Tennessee or Missouri but a good tech with experience with these types of mods will be ok . It's a lot of money and its hard to come by these day so I don't want to take any chances

it is only 466 miles from you and you know it was done right the first time. I would think it would be worth it for the money you're about to spend

I called hydrotec they rep fun and sun in hurst but they'll install and tune phase kit and change the fly wheel for a 1000 and have next day turn around for out of towners . I will also say that they are very honest I was going to go phase 3 they told me since I'm in a heavy boat I will not see the gain in the 3 so go with the phase too and the big bore TB and save a grand

The exhaust and motor have separate cooling systems and the water port for the tuner clogged with sand and melted before the alarm caught it

Yes, Travis has been racing and building outboards and blown alcohol hydro's since he was a kid when he started for me 20 years ago. I am proud to say he can not only can he fix anything, but he cares how its done. He is over all my service department at both Hurst and Granbury. Give him a call at 817-279-1991
Thanks.
Jeff

Hydrotec said that the number 1 cause is bad lift pump diaphragms your fuel mileage will get worse too. The pumps will work fine but will cause excess fuel in the crank case which can be exhausted in to the tuner which will burn it up

bought my used johnson 175 from them, owner was getting a phase 3 on a new engine, they were nothing but honest and outstanding to do business with. they checked things out for me before shipping and I couldn't be happier.

That makes sense. I have the hydro tech tuner in it right now.
