Good God I'd Hope Ok I will say one thing. Ketchn hasn't posted for once! Thank God! LMAO I was thinking the same thing! LOL! Wasn't gonna play arm chair therapist today, ( my pedigree is plenty qualified) but sounds like we have gotten some things off our chest, time to look forward. I'm new so don't know all about years past. Stupid to sweat the small stuff. If the friendship is meaningful to both of you, grab a 6pk and a tailgate and talk face to face. If not, let it be over. BTW, love your jigs. Dang good price and jigs look high quality. I just ordered some.

Thanks for all the positive encouragement. I take all responses very seriously.. And will do my best to help...I have invited Bob to fish on my boat. He may not want to at this time, and I understand, but hope he will have a change of heart someday... I'll be here, and my invitation is very sincere Bob if and whenever you are ready...

I was really trying to stay off this. I was asked to clear this up Yes we went fishing years ago. To be specific We went with Maurice Wyatt about three times. I went with you and JD in the Red boat you had, I also went with you and Conman to Benbrook in the red boat, you came with me once also that was August 2 2009. Before I knew you I had a float tube and used to fish most of the time with Mr. Lidge Matthews he is no longer able to fish due to being paralyzed due to accident. As an adult he was more influential than any one due to us both being veterans. Before that we were staioned in New Mexico I fished Ft Summer lake,Santa Rosa lake my best fishing was Ute and Conchas for Crappie one of my retailers had a lighted dock we would catch Crappie and walleye off at night. Before that I fished trout in Germany and before that a lot of fishing in Monterey Bay California. Before that if I can remember Bayou Serpent, Bayou Chene Laccasine Bayou, Bayou Nezpique The Calcasieu River to name a few. The folks who taught me to fish are long gone mostly. So where this comes from I don't know about me not knowing how to fish before I met you coming from Acadiana fishing was and still is a way of life that at times our very existence depended on. So yes I will deny that you taught me how to fish, the way it is wrote it says just that. To all who sent me PMs and text it is clear I have been fishing a long time. That's what I born to do.

Pat... Don't let some wishy washy PMs interpret "influence" = teaching. Just last week, a friend of mine who ties very few jigs for himself to fish was fishing with me. One glance from his jig used influenced me to adapt its unique feature. Did he teach me how to tie jigs? Not. Did he influence me on the jigs I tied a few days ago? ABSOLUTELY!
All credit to Andy!!!!

Very interesting opinions and interpretations. It might be good to get things off your chest so that you may move forward.

Ok Pal, One more post. Did you or did you not tell me 3 times you were going to send me 50 jigs but when I could not get off to take you fishing, when your wife was off work on Tuesdays, due to my schedule, you quit communicating with me. You not only did that to me but 3 big time guides. When the free fishing trips stopped or could not be arranged with them, they never got their jigs either. You did not pay CAT to be a sponsor but went to the Extravaganza and passed out free jigs wanting to get recognition for it. Did you or did you not have your little girl stand up at a CAT meeting and recite a rehearsed sentence asking "Why my daddy did not get recognized". (Pathetic) Did you or did you not run down a guide on Tawakoni constantly on the phone to me and do your best to make me not like him.
I finally figured you out like all of the others warned me. I always gave you the benefit of the doubt. I post a lot and you wanted me using your jigs and posting about them. Ring a bell Ketchn? Funny how naming a jig after someone seems to always work, right CV?
Now I'm done. the "Ketchn" jig was actually Jigum jigs "name" idea ... a two tone chart and white custom he made just for me Slabmesilly made the "Kaboom" if i remember correctly .... and then it seems to me when it comes to product endorsements you have to go use them a lot with good results .... lots of people that supply tackle approached me before cv i aint getting all this exactly ... and like i told the folks here before .... i am just here to Ketch crappie fish ... and tell my story and opnions on the task at hand nothing more nothing less ... besides when i went with cv ... in his boat ... he ONLY asked me for one thing ... a bag a ice ? and handed me 25 or 30 bux worth a beautiful custom hand ties just so we have the facts straight on all this sir
