So I wanted to try some jug/noodle fishing. Took 5 out with me this morning to Eagle Mountain and found some shad to cut up. When I came back about 90 min later, 2 were empty and the third caught this baby. Not sure what kind it is, but it weighed between 3 and 4 lbs. This was in about 12 feet of water with my line about 5 feet down.

I could easily see myself setting out about 15 of these and then anchoring down with some drinks. Not a bad way to catch some fish. Now I just gotta learn how to clean em. If anyone could help identify this one for me, that'd be great.

Thanks!

Def hooked. Plan on going out again next week. Hope the shad is still easy to catch. Not sure what's going on at eagle mountain, but there are huge groups of very large shad feeding all morning. Easily 5-6 inches.
