 Where to Install Side Imaging Transducer?

I have an '02 Ranger and would like to install the Lowrance side imaging transducer. I do not have a jackplate. So where is a good place on the transom to install it?
If anyone has a pic of their transducer installed that would help a bunch.

Should be a place just forward of the right side motor mount. I like to mount them where they will have some protection.
