I bought some slabs from a local manufacturer(Texas)awhile back and lost their contact information. Anybody can identify this here lure? I remember their website said these kill on Lake Lavon and were the cheapest slabs around. If you got a link or a name I sho' would appreciate it.

Haven't seen that one before. If you can't find that one you should try the link in my signature line. His slabs start at .99 cents. Cheapest around and catch fish!

Thanks Roy, been out to Moe's garage sales before. Got some good deals and drank some "milk"!! No denying he got some good tackle. Just wondering if I can locate the manufacturer of this basic slab. Handmade in a garage by family members.

I highly doubt that!!! All his stuff is top quality with quality powder coating and the best clearcoat out there. Philip would never put junk out on the market for a cheap sell.

Didn't mean to sound arrogant/pompous or imply anything at you. I just know Philip doesn't put out a cheaply made lure. No worries and hope you didn't feel offended.

I don't think RSR made it either. I bought these about 4 years ago. I remember their website was pictures of the garage with family members making lead. And they were proud of the fact that the lures were basic. And they caught fish.

Can you remember the webdsite now? You have me interested. smile

I always fished jigs and small spinner baits, so this would be something new for me.

The turtle was kinda turtle shaped. The beast looked like many a 1 oz. Slab. And the third choice was this kinda square one. I bought a combo pack of all three slabs. Those turtles caught me a bunch of fish.
