I did not realize how rocky it can be. It cuts through big waves like a knife but rocks to ever move and wave.

Are you talking about a modified v or deep v. If it is a deep v then there isn't much you can do except buy a bigger boat. If it is a mod v then you can add sponsons on the transom and it will help to some degree.

It is an monarch pro 170 aluminum boat. There is a sight v in the back of the boat. The nose has a slanted front

Sponsons will help that boat somewhat. That boat is probably around 52" - 54" wide at the bottom.
