thumb Nice ride! Not many get to launch a yak like that their first time.

Correct, I was saying I was "Afraid of finding boutique pricing" (like at many specialty shops in any industry) and was VERY pleased to find the prices at Mariner are EXCELLENT.

Congrats on the new kayak.

One of the main reasons I chose Hobie a couple of years ago, was Shaun let me try his out. Glad he did, I might have bought a lesser brand. lol

I wanted to buy at Mariner because of their reputation. But I was told since it was the end of model year, the color I wanted was not in stock and I would have to pay shipping, if I ordered it individually.

Austin Kayak had what I wanted in stock, with no cost shipping. I had the yak in less than a week with anchor trolly installed for free. Fact is, I have never heard anything bad about either Mariner or Austin. Now that Shaun is at Mariner, I believe I have a friend there.

Still learning to kayak fish with my Hobie Outback.
