Hit Starcke park yesterday morning.Took off at 6:30 and we were fishing by 7:15.Have to say that it was good,we were fishing the paddling trail on kayaks and i caught my biggest rio ever, yesterday.Using floats/worms and had blast. Side Note: How was the water conditions? Clarity,flow,etc.

Thanks Banker,we had a good time catching those fat rios.My friend is officially hooked on rios. The water was that nice Guadalupe green,pretty clear i'd say.According to the web that water flow there is alot slower cause of the Saffold dam.....perfect for gills/rios.Definetly will make a return trip before it gets cold....

Where is that park if you don't mind me asking, & how hard is it to launch yak?

Hey Roofish,that park is in Seguin right off of 123.The launch is a little rough but,you can get in.Its a concrete slab with a ladder on it.....Caught some nice rios there.
