8.10.13: I wanted to do a test on my new kayak shade rig on my KC Kayak. Hit up my favorite spot Chocolate Bay and snuck into this back lake I found. It's super skinny. Posted up and just waited for some action... hoping to see some tailing and finning. Nothing. On my way out, I worked the entrance and hooked up with a nice flounder using Logic Lures Scented Tandem Rig in LSU. Went to a couple more spots and switched to popping cork. I put a Gulp Shrimp in LSU color on to a wide gap blood twister hook I pulled from the Logic Lures tandem rig. I prefer to fish with no weight when I fish under popping cork... it gives the shrimp a real natural action.
