Just kidding about the carp guide.

Went out with Bombay today with Nia & ActionJack. He Showed us how to use the graph on our own boat and look for fish around structure so we don't have to rely on boils. Put us on Nia's PB fish, a nice carp, 2 hybrids, and mess of sandbass. Only kept bigger fish which looks small around the carp. Our trolling motor broke down. Paul invited the group on his boat to finish out the trip to catch more fish. Spent alot of time going all afound the lake teaching us new spots. White godfather slabs worked better than chartreuse that everybody around us change to white. Thanks Bombay ! Had fun .

Yes sir! A couple of chunks of that critter placed right could make for a BIG kitty!

As for busting balls.... Did you get an education and a good trip? I would bet my next check you did.... Tell us about that, we all catch a carp/buff/cat now and then.... If we're in the right spot, as it seems you were placed upon...

Bombay programmed our HDS graph so it was easy to read a caveman could read it. He took us away from the boat show to show us other places where we can find fish alone. we went to over 7 spots. Teaching us how to read scans, turning boat around for side scan, teaching about ledges and hump. As always we like to bust each other balls including Paul. Not only could he take it, he dished it also which was fun. had A great time actually.

Sounds like a fun and productive trip. Congrats. Guides really speed up the learning process.

BTW, my daughter caught her personal best blue cat on a large chunk of buffalo. She is in my signature.

He is guiding dove trips this month. Think he is already booked up. Just give him a call to find out.

I'm interested in how that big buff tastes. I have a lake near me that is loaded with those things. If word gets out that they taste good, maybe fisherman will reduce the over population some so I can more easily target the big hybrids in there.

Don't get your hopes up. Any way you cook it...its nasty. Some people eat them and I have seen how they cook them, but to me they always come out nasty. Disgusting fish.
