It was fun, thanks again for the open invite Roger. Enjoyed hearing Jerry's stories and experiences. That man caught a 4 lb crappie once (small set of fisherman that can say that). Lee is a great fisherman too and very generous, always offing a drink or a bait or inviting us over to slab the fish he saw on the bird...
I liked the Cooper shelter. Totally sufficient if you remember to bring your coffee pot (we didn't) and otherwise know what to expect. Great A/C!

Hank, the pic I was now wishing I had taken was one of Jerry's bread. Lesson learned - be careful when your gas station and your grocery store are the same place.

It was a great time. Enjoyed finally meeting folks I've chatted with on here forever. The fishing Friday night was slow but Saturday was good with sand bass and hybrids up to 16 inches for me. I did catch around 15. I had two on at one time. Landed the first, tossed him back and then the second one broke me off. The cabin was nice. If you buy bread at the c-store by the park check for hitch-hikers. Mine had a hole eaten half way through the loaf. I'll post pics soon. Thanks again guys for the invite and Lee for the slab!

A few pics. You can see the lure in this one. My poor little one eyed fish. Had one that was slightly over 16 but he escaped without a photo while I tried to land another.
