I have a MotorGuide 550, 12/24v, 40 lbs trust that is on it's last legs (spins? lizard). It seizes up and won't move from 12 to 24 without a good hit...literally. hammer

Should I have it repaired or just buy a new one? If it's best to repair, do you have any suggestions around Fork?

Personally I would pitch it and get a Minn Kota but if you want to get it repaired around Lake Fork Lakeside Trolling Motor on 515 is the only Mororguide repair on the lake.
