If you go to Port O and have a boat with you, where is a good place to stay that is secure for the boat/trailer at night and the rooms are clean. Does not have to be swanky, but clean with a good air conditioner. Fish house to clean your fish would be a plus as well. Thanks for your thoughts.

Check out The Inn at Clarks. Boat slip included with a room rental which is very nice after an all day affair with the reds and trout. No cleaning stations there but you can use the stations at Froggie's or the Fishing Center for free. See if the bunk room is available should you have a full crew with you. I reserved it yesterday for November for $106 a night. Poco Loco rooms are small I am told.
Tight lines...

I waited to late and called today. The only place I found was The American Inn & Suites. 361-983-2606. Everywhere else is booked. Its only about a block away from the load ramp. Thanks Tim

Ya that is where I wanted to stay. We always go to Rockport. This is our first trip there. I am told that I have to really watch out for Oyster Beds in Port O'conner. Any advise you could give me to help dodge them? I have a GPS graph but its the lakes chip and does not show me Ft. like the coastal chip does.
