What kind of rod is best for all around jig fishing? Currently using a 6'6" mh fast action.. How do you have yours setup?

Dobyns DX 745 with a Lews Tournament Pro is as good as it gets and light as a feather.

I like the Shimano crucial 7 foot medium heavy worm and jig rod.

Anywhere from 7'-7'6" Hvy-fast action would be great for jigs. Length would just be a preference on what you like to fish with.

Thanks guys.. gunna go with a 7' h fast action... but another question.. what type of rod do you prefer? Glass? Composite? Carbon fiber?

I prefer a high modulus graphite, glass is primarily used in cranking rods nowadays has a little to much give for a jig rod-IMO. Never tried a real carbon fiber blank though. Hope this helps.
