I will be going offshore next week on the scat cat and would like to buy some ribbon fish and sardines to take with me. Last year when I went on the scat cat I didnt bring any and the crew didnt want to give me any out of the freezer so im taking my own and going to be prepaired this time.

Port a out fitters as suggested.... last weekend they didnt have any ribbonfish and said they have been kind of scarce on em.... they do have sardines cant remember price.. 5 pound box of cigar minnows runs 20$ and they have/had menhaden as well as other baits

I called fishermans wharf and they said there was no ribbon fish at all on the island. They sale the sardines them selfs so I guess when I get there this wensday ill figure out what to do. Thanks guys.

They "DO" have RIBBON FISH

OK I think I know where your talking about, isnt it in a tin coverd building? Ive seen this place before and had thought about it.

I was just down there. The Wal Mart store at Flour Bluff had the ribbon fish in a freezer in sporting goods section.

Asian groceries may have some..I would call first.
Yes ..the building is wood/tin.I listed the phone # so you can call first..they will normally have baits when others do not.
The store is easy to find.you will see it from the hwy.
