Curious if anyone has bought one of these and what they think? I am thinking about buying one. I appreciate your comments. www.iballhitchcam.com

This one doesn't work worth a darn on my truck! I don't know if its because the metal blocks the antenna reception or what, but it sucks on my Ford F350.

So the Peak one is a good one and the iballhitchcam isn't?
The Peak one is cheaper also.
Thanks, just wanted to make sure I understood what you were saying.

No I have the Peak one Wayne posted and it doesn't work on my truck but it works fine in Wayne's SUV. His antenna is mounted in his cab but on my truck the antenna isn't long enough to get into the cab area, so it's mounted under the bed. Which I'm guessing causes interference?

No, my Peak antenna is in the bed of my Colorado pickup, stuck to the left side of the bed next to the tailgate.
My SUV came with a backup camera so I don't need to add one to that.

Am I reading this right? The iballhitchcam is wireless which plug in the cig for power. No permanent installation required. That seems to work great and you can move from truck to truck as needed

I have the iball and been using it for over a year now and it works great. Decent alternative to the cost of having a dealer installed color back up system. After a couple of times knowing how to position the magnetic back up camera and no problems at all. Worth it.
