Based on the rig you have your kind of limited, but if it were me I'd get a bracket for the trolling motor and put it there. I've had my SI ducer for my bow unit on my TM for about 3 years now and it took a little getting used to but now that I am It'll take wild horses to get me to pull it off.

Put it on your TM looks like about your only option thats what I would do.

Would mount TM on the front and mount your transducer of the TM.. With SI you really want to take advantage and see all the structure and water as soon as possible. Just my 2 cents..

The transducer needs to be lower than any part of the bracket. Or you could make a sliding pole out of square tubing that you could lower from the front of the boat. Kind of like a manual version of the HB 360 but for a SI fixed unit. It would be easy.
But the biggest thing I see in how it is mounted is it higher than the piece of steel you have it on. Lower it to where the bottom of the transducer is 1/2" lower than the tube steel.
Retirement best job ever.

Have you tried moving it down to the lowest hole on the bracket? That's what I would try, if that doesn't help mounting to the tm might be the only option.
