Did you get a length on it? It was about 33"

Cool video man. I caught a 13 lber at that same spot on a swim bait in April. Caught three on a crankbait last a couple Sundays ago. Believe it or not, I have caught several channel cat on top waters from that lake over the years. Definitely the most active catfish I've ever ran into . If you wanted to target them specifically a dead shad on a weightless hook will get it done. Smash the shad so all the good stuff comes out

It's so plentiful in the lake and the main reason why the cats are willing to chase down artificials.

Been catching catfish on roadrunners and ultralights for years. Super fun. Nothing as big that though!!
