Simple loop knot works fine.
Boated tons of fish.

For line fade, I just cut off first 10-15'.
No leader.

Ordered some from Boneheads website last night. Rods stay in the locker or in their sleeve when not on the water so the fading shouldn't be a problem.

Fished twice with the hi-vis yellow braid. I like it a lot. No break-offs today.
