being land locked for now (no boat), i have a par 64 light and generator setup. the boy and i have tried texas city but the end filled up early and we had great luck at the east beach entrance but you have to drag all your heavy stuff across the sand to get to the shoreline. on our last trip over the bridge into galveston, we noticed a spot on the right down from the bait shop next to/under the bridge. i am guessing it legal to fish there but is it legal to set up lights? i did a search and could not find anything except there is still debris in the water from the bridge construction. i work weekends and off during the week and the boy starts back to school next week and searching for spots so when we both are off.

....you can set up lights at the spot you mentioned. Pretty shallow there though, but you might have some luck. I might also recommend the Flood Gates just north of the TC Dike. When you are facing the gates take a look at the bank on the inside of Moses Lake. You can go out about thirty feet or so then it drops off big time. Usually not near as crowded as on the Dike itself.

...so good it tastes like it died screaming!
