Do you think he is close enough to pull out a repeat? A lot of big names at the top! I would like to see him pull it off but if he doesn't no problem he's still going to the classic!

He didn't have 6 in the well and make a cast. He culled in Minnesota water

If not for mental mistakes he would be going for three in a row so, yes, he has a chance to repeat.

The guy can fish im pulling for him....let me clarify that this is my personal opinion but that no cull law is very outdated and i feel as if he was robbed of that tournament.... would be awesome to know that u couldve won 3 ina row.... does anyone know if anyone one has ever won 3 ina row

He can because he's on fire with confidence and very very good! However, odds of 3 in a row are very slim. I haven't researched it but I doubt any one has ever won 3 elite events in a row. Yes I know he got the dq, but he clearly had it in bag if not for bs..

In the short life of the " elites", know one has ever won three in a row. In the life span of BASS yes. Roland Martin has won three in a row. That was done in the old days when there was only Invitationals. Which is what the opens are now days.
I do think Brandon can do it but only if stops making mental mistakes. The deal in Minnesota was all on him. They all had to play by the same rules and all had to know the rules weather they were outdated or not. Everyone else knew what to do. He is a great angler, he just needs to mature. I'm sure he will make his mark in the sport given time. Look how long it took KVD. Almost 20 years to be named the best. He won't do it over night. He has to pay his dues. Good luck to him.

Yep, and he can and probably will be the next KVD too. He is 66th in AOY points. Very un-KVD like. He has a long way and long time to be considered even close to KVD who's finishes towards the top are crazy ahead of anyone else.
