Good post. If I go by myself I use the Float Plan ap and send it to my wife and a buddy so somebody knows exactly where I am. I haven't done night fishing from a yak yet.

Good write up! I am very guilty of overhyping the trip before it starts. Sometimes the night before I go I can't even sleep I'm so excited about all the "monsters" I'm gonna land in the morning!

I own more than 1 lures I purchased after watch Bill Dance catch big un after big un on the new magic lure! Would head out the next day knowing I would get the same results.....
For smallies, better chances on Texoma for sure.
