I have the Tour 109lbs thrust by Motorguide. When I'm trolling on 3 the motor is whinning but it goes away if I go down to 2 or up to 4. Do I need to get a new motor or do you think this can be fixed? Allstar Marine is an authorized repair shop in Lewisville but before I go there I'd like to know if there is a remedy besides motor work? Any suggestions are apreciated.

I would try another prop on it first. Assuming you checked for fishing line?

Headed to Cabelas now for a new one. I got to be careful with those props. This is the 4th one in 3 months. Always trying to go shallow! Lol!
