I just wanted to let you guys know that Shawn at Crosswinds Guide Service is an incredible guide at Lake Texoma. The guy is the best! He knows how to get fish in the boat. He is a great guy very cheap and reasonable and the guy never disappoints!!! If you need a guide on Texoma this is who you need to go with! It will be the best trip you have had! To be honest, I've done my research. Spoke with a few friends here in Oklahoma. I would NOT recommend you Shawn. Dude, your reputation is bad and you don't even know it. Your ego is that of a male shovenist pig, and NO one in thier right mind should step FOOT on your boat. I'm ALL about good fishing, tourny fishing, deep sea fishing, and if I know someone who is good, I'll put it out there. But, also, when I know someone is BAD, I'll put it out there to. Stay to the small Oklahoma lakes son, it's safer that way.

Lol I think Shawn is the best, he is the same one that guided out of Konawa. I have been on several trips with him and he is great. He is a great family man and an excellent guide. I think Yukon has something personal against Shawn. He is the cheapest out there as well as the one guide who will bend over backwards to make sure you enjoy your trip! Check his website and Facebook he is running an excellent trip plus cabin on Texoma right now!

I'll vouch for Crosswinds and I've never fished with him.
But I know a number of folks who have and they've had nothing but praise for him.

It sounds like the poor guide has an upset woman out there, perhaps a girlfriend or ex wife or something. She said "your ego is that of a male shovenist pig." OHH the humanity!! She does not even know how to spell "chauvinist." I would never go with any fisherman who would make a derogatory statement about a woman on his fishing boat....in that case I will never fish again. Dont worry about it Crosswinds, nobody takes this seriously. Heck I should hire you just because of this.

You're so right about that Salsa. I've never heard anything but good reports from folks that have fished with Crosswinds. It's also pretty rare to get praise from competing guides.
