I have chased them from Cape Ann in Mass all the way down to Cape Hatteras in N.C. and every where in between. Mostly from the beach (surf casting)and sometimes in an 18 to 21 foot boat.

Bob Chilton could show you some video he has of him catching them that will get your pulse going. Somewhere off the NE coastline they were schooling as far as you could see.

Really cool videos and crazy action.

I can't seem to post pics with my phone or I'd show you what it's all about. I use to chase them from New Jersey to Montauk to Rhode Island. You haven't lived until you've fished for stripers from the beaches or rocks in the pitch black with only the sound of the waves and the sound of your drag screaming. I'll be in New Jersey this November again getting my "fix". Fish allnight and sleep all day. Nothin like it!
