My boat runs great on the muffs, but as soon as the middle exhaust is in the lake it chokes out like it is starving for air. When this is happening water is pouring out the top exhaust. If I can goose it into gear, top speed is a motor shaking 6 mph.... I'm lost. I was thinking carbs or vacuums but why would it make a difference if the exhaust is in the water? Please help

If it been sitting up for while the exhaust ports may be stopped up or clogged some.

carbs with exhaust in water you have back pressure no back press on muffs
