Is this for fiberglass boat only? I have a new 2013 aluminum boat and I can see oxidation off of it. Will it work on aluminum boat?

Is this for fiberglass boat only? I have a new 2013 aluminum boat and I can see oxidation off of it. Will it work on aluminum boat? Wow a new boat with oxidation. I had an Express for 10 years and never seen any. Where are you fishing?(salt) When I did wash mine I just used Dawn. Or if I was lazy go to the car wash and rinse, then degreaser, then wash with soap and a final rinse.
