Headed there this weekend to pre fish for a bass tourney. Planning on doing some cat fishing in the afternoons. Has anyone been out there lately?

I have seven trucks working down there now and they say its been pretty rowdy all this week with elevated Border Patrol activities.
Alot more going on then people really want to know,its the suck part of our business as well as this State
Thats why they pay us the BIG BUCKS!
Dont be stupid,cover your 6 and you should be fine with mobility during daylight hours

Been fishishg pretty heavy the past three weeks, tons of small channels on sudden impact/ danny kings. A few descent blues on shad. Havent had any trouble with border patrol or illegals but always have my big blade just in case, 2 HUGE gators this week too so be careful!

Have been having pretty good luck on mussels cut into pieces, bigger better fish everytime ! Give it a try.
