Not wanting to know your secret spots just would like to get into some of the action you guys have been posting. I hear of all these spots like the humps or the peanut but not sure where these are located to try and get into some fish. I m thinking of going out Thursday in boat and was woundering if any of you regulars will be out.

If you are going to be out early look for schooling fish in front of Robertson park and the power plant jetty. Later in the morning the are hanging out around the levys and roadbed in front of the park. Check in front of both I30 bridges also.

Hey JP, I'm happy to give out some advice  Just didnt see your post until now  What Pat said is a good starting place. Fish have been holding in 15-20ft for me and they've been scattered. You just have to look around on your fish finder until you find some. I've been throwing a marker buoy when I find fish and casting toward them or trolling hellbenders. Both have been effective. I bet you find fish at either Robertson or the Jetty

Well thanks everyone for the help I was unfortunate to find and schools on Thursday. After checking out few spots I ended up hanging out under one of the bridges and fishing with minnows caught 4 crappie 2 large mouth bass hybrid and 1 cat fish all in all had a good time. May try again this thursday if weather permits maybe some of us may cross paths thanks everyone for the help just need to get out there and try try and try.

JP no secret except dont run big motor up to a group. Troll in giving enough space to other boats and hubbard guys will invite you and talk at you. When you troll up to the group just yell out "Any of you guys on the forum?". You will get a warm response from some great guys.
