Was out on the lake yesterday and had a problem with my terrova with I-Pilot. I was fishing for white bass and using the spotlock anchor feature. I was locked on a spot for probably 45 minutes and the motor started turning off on it's own. It would start right up again by using either the remote or the foot control....but would only run for maybe 15-30 seconds and then shut down.

When I got off the lake, I touched the motor....and it was very, very hot. I guess it was overheating and that was why it was shutting down.

I pulled the blade off to see if there was line or something wrapped around it, but it was clean.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen.

This generally happens when the batteries get very low.
