Have not been able to contact RonDon in a while. Besides no one in their right mind would agree on line to sell you any pony heads since Blakemore has the Trademark on the design and unlike a patent which has an end date, a Trademark has no term that it last. So if you want 1/8 oz Roadrunners without Sickle hooks then you may find that. Don't think some realize how much trouble one can get into from selling pony heads, but Blakemore would wipe them out in court. Just as the guy that use to make Stump Jumpers back in the 1990's for BPS. He lots everything over that one!
Just thought of something, I never saw his web site, but if he had pony heads on there then Blakemore may be what happened to him, but I have no idea about this.

Yep Blakemore had a good thang going and have defended that patent to the fullest. You can buy the mold and make them yourself a whole lot cheaper than fightin Blakemore lures. If you want a pony head roadrunner jighead with sickle hooks, best to just git the mold and make em yourself. Mold is about $30 to $35.

Thanks for the information guys. I didn't realize it was like that. I haven't actually seen any Blakemore heads with sickle hooks or I would have just bought some. As far as making them myself I'd need to buy more than just the mold because I don't currently have any of the materials for making lead heads.

I haven't actually seen any Blakemore heads with sickle hooks I am 99.9% sure Blakemore doesn't make them.

Blakemore TTI which not only makes Roadrunners, but TTI is True Turn, so doubt you will ever see a Roadrunner with a Sickle hook in it.

Ron Don never had any pony heads listed on his website, he had custom belly spinners listed though.

I don't have a clue what happened to him. I tried to contact him several weeks back and no reply back. Last time he was on CDC was 6/28 so not sure and was just taking a stab at a reason that could explain this.
I don't remember his wen site at all really and I just talked through PM's and email.

I bought 300 jig heads from him about a month ago. I guess those were some of his last ones if he is out of business.

He's no longer in business. This scared me and I sent Ronny a text. He responded back saying that he will be up & running in "a month or so". He just has a LOT going on right now. So fear not,.... he WILL be back.
