One of the first sizable fish I caught as a kid was a Jack. I've been hooked on fishing ever since.

They were a blast. I had heard how hard of fighters they were but I still didn't expect them to be so strong. They will peel off 200 yards of line before you know what happened. I tried to thumb the drag to give it a break and quit losing ground on the fish - big mistake. I'm walking around without thumb prints now - them suckers burned my fingers.
