Anyone know anything about this reel. Great reviews on tacklewarehouse. I'm also looking at the Lews BB-1 speed spool. I want to buy one or the other to put on a St Croix Legend Extreme 7 ft medium action. I would appreciate any opinions.

I have a lews bb1 with the 7.1 gear ratio. It will cast a country mile and is very smooth and very well built. Its feels a little big for my hands but I love it.

I've had a few energy pt reels and they were OK (sold them all) but I like the lews reels more, and shimano e series reels more than that. lol
Check ebay for the lowest prices.

Quantum is a very under rated reel. I have used them for years and thay have out lasted other name brands i wont bring up.
